I hate small talk, so let’s just get right to the nitty-gritty of it all.

I have spent more time than I would like to openly admit mulling over the creation of this space — going back and forth out of fear of rejection, not quite ready to be completely vulnerable or to take the plunge, but alas here we are. If I am being honest, which I always promise to be, I feel vulnerable but hopeful — it feels like my whole heart spilling out onto the internet. This is my passion project, the part of my day that I look forward to, and the part that makes me feel the most “me” that I can feel.

It has been a long, long road leading to this moment and I am so endlessly grateful to be here, to have the ability and the means to express myself through words, pictures, and my love for books. So if you have made it through the end of this post, thank you. My sincere hope is that you will not only find inspiration or even your next favorite book here but also a dear friend.
